What baby items do we really NEED?
I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and we are trying to finish up on the last few things we still need for our sons arrival. I'm wondering What you have bought versus what you actually use? that way we don't end up buying things we won't use. How far in your pregnancy did you start buying baby items, like the big things,did you wait or buy early on?
ive already bought her clothes and bibs early on,im now nearly 27weeks and will be in my 3rd trimester very soon, i have my list of things already made that i will buy her in the next few weeks like pram cot picked out. were you very early to purchase things, just that family member was saying to me i dont need to get things right now and to wait, i dont think they realise how much things you need

What baby items did you save for your next child?
All my friends seem to be saving every item their child sees for the next one, resulting in a lot of just stuff, sitting around. I personally am only saving the unisex, or ultra cute outfits, the baby swing, bassinet, diaper genie, and the insanely expensive excersaucer and baby gym, and the most classic toys, like the stacking rings and xylephone. THe cheap or plain clothes and the toys that are less expensive or faddish, or not well liked are going to kid to kid or the salvation army. Two 'big things I am not saving is our awful crib we may buy a new one now, this one is so terrible, the poofy crib bumpers, and the bi bulky high chair that needs its own zip code. I intend to just upgrade those items. What did you save? What did you get rid of? Should I save other things that I didn't mention? I know carseats get outdated too fast to really save....

Where can you calculate how much money you need to spend on baby items I really need help?
Is there a REALLY GOOD registry site or a site to put in all of the baby items you want and it will show you how much money you will need and what places to get the stuff from? I don't just want like a registry so people can see what I want I want to make a list type thing online to show how much money I will need to spend to get the things I want. I can't really find a site and I was hoping if anyone could try and help me out. I am trying to explain it well but I am getting frustrated. AND I am too lazy to write everything down so I was hoping for an easy alternative D Hope someone could help.

I really want to start shopping for my baby. I don't really want to buy anything I don't need so what are the most important things that I must have? Or maybe some things that you thought you didn't need but came in handy later??? I just need a simple list of all the basics.thnx
If you sent your SO to the store for baby items would he know what to get?
Lastnight I sent my SO to the store for formula. He came back with gentle ease formula. I said " Honey, he doesn't need gentle ease." and he said " Well you didn't tell me what kind to get " .. Although my son hasn't been on formula for very long it still seems as though he would know what kind to get seeing as how he makes bottles too.. Any similar stories?
Airport rules for baby items? UK?
we will be travelling to Cyprus from Glasgow and was wondering what the rules were about baby milk and food. I have heard that you need to try the milk but i either use powdered milk in which you make up when u need it or the ready made 200ml cartons so how could you taste these? also they say u should only take enough for the flight, my baby takes quite a lot of milk so would they limit you or? Also what about jars of baby food?
